Sarfaraz, a proud brother, congratulates Musheer Khan on his record-breaking Ranji Trophy century

<p>In the Ranji Trophy final versus Vidarbha, Mumbai batter Musheer Khan made history by hammering a century.</p>

<p>In the Ranji Trophy final, the 19-year-old became the youngest cricketer from Mumbai to strike a century.</p>
<p>When Sachin Tendulkar, at 21 years old, hit two centuries in the Ranji Trophy final against Punjab in 1994–1955, he set the previous record.</p>
<p>Following Musheer’s incredible accomplishment, his older brother, Sarfaraz Khan, posted a number of Instagram stories praising the young man.</p>
<p>In the just finished Test series against England, Sarfaraz, who debuted for India, said that Musheer still has a long way to go.</p>
<p>The proud brother also recounted the Sher Bhookha Hai narrative by Suryakumar Yadav.</p>
<p>Through an Instagram post, the middle-order batsman from India congratulated Musheer on smashing the mark for the Ranji Trophy.</p>
<p>Sarfaraz also posted a picture of his father, Naushad Khan, who is undoubtedly pleased about his kids’ recent successes.</p>
<p>In the Ranji Trophy final of the 2021–22 season, Sarfaraz, like his younger brother, hit a century as Madhya Pradesh defeated Mumbai to win the coveted trophy.</p>
<p>In the second inning, Musheer struck out 136 runs off 326 deliveries, a magnificent effort. His amazing knock enabled Mumbai to set a massive 500+ target.</p>
<p>Ten fours peppered his knock.</p>
<p>In the quarterfinal match against Baroda, Musheer scored his first-ever century in the first class and turned it into a double century. Mumbai prevailed in the elimination match by an innings and 70 runs thanks to his 203 runs off 357 balls.</p>
<p>Musheer came into the Ranji Trophy fresh off an incredible U-19 World Cup campaign. During his seven tournament appearances, Musheer amassed 360 runs at an average of sixty. He finished the season as the second-highest run scorer after smashing two hundred and fifty.</p>
