“Ever since I learned about the popularity of football and the Manchester United fan following from Tilak, I had been eager to go to India. Unfortunately, owing to unforeseen circumstances, the tour needs to be postponed this time. But in February, I’m going to India to meet the supporters and see the fandom firsthand,” Solskjaer said.

Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi were the three cities on the tour, which was to be hosted by Tilak Gaurang Shah, the founder of Ace of Pubs and a supporter of Manchester United.

“The postponement of Ole’s India trip is regrettable. I think the fans will realize that this is an inescapable scenario. We are thrilled to welcome the Manchester United great for his first-ever India visit after we spoke about the updated plan with him, Tilak said.

In the football world, Solskjaer is well-known, and he has a sizable following in India. With 366 club appearances and 126 goals, the former Manchester United manager is also one of the team’s top scorers. Football fans all across the globe are still enthralled by his incredible last-minute goal that won the 1999 Champions League final against Bayern Munich.
